About Pagewatcher
Pagewatcher will intelligently monitor the content of any page on the Web.
Pagewatcher not only monitors plain old static (normally unchanging) web pages but can watch dynamically generated pages and let you know (via email or pager) if some part of that page shows something different from normal, or has some specific content in it. For example:
- For a page that displays the current temperature somewhere on it, you can ask Pagewatcher to notify you if the temperature ever drops below 32 degrees!
If you're a Webmaster, it can monitor your web site on a regular basis to make sure it's working right. If it finds anything you don't expect, Pagewatcher will send you an email or even beep your pager! Of course, Pagewatcher will also let you know if the web server isn't working at all, and it will let you know when it comes back up.
